Big day today for former Nevada prep milers!
Running at the Husky Invitational at the U. of Washington, former Moapa Valley standout, Josh Thompson (Oklahoma State-Soph) became the first Nevada athlete to break the 4 minute mile running 3:58.33 finishing 4th overall
At the Iowa State Classic, Centennial HS's Dajour Braxton (LSU-Freshman) ran 4:05.29 finishing 20th
It goes without saying the influence their high school coaches had/have on their running career. So congratulations to Roy Session (Centennial) and Shane Hickman (Moapa Valley)!!
