Congratulations to Bishop Gorman's Vashti Cunningham and Faith Lutheran's Mark Rubacalba on being named Nevada's Gatorade Track & Field Athletes of the Year.

Vashti Cunningham, representing the Nevada Gazzelles Track Club, set a National USATF Youth and Meet record in the high jump at the LA Jets Invitational. Vashti's jump of 1.88 broke the record of 1.85 set by Adrienne Sims in 1996.
